This was an issue not only to the black community, but also to rest of the world.

When King declared: "all of God's children...sing, free at last", it is evident that he included all the people: blacks and whites, in the matter of freedom, and therefore became more appealing to his audience.

According to Luther, the church and priests were unnecessary.

He also said that there is no difference between priests and commoners.

Furthermore, King tried to approach his audience through their emotions.

He described his vivid dreams in which blacks and whites are able to live together in harmony and peace. There was then a Counter-Reformation to the Protestants. They tried to convert Protestants back to Christianity, which did not work.In the early 1500’s he created quite a stir through out the Catholic Church and proceeded to not only make a name for him; however, he also began to alienate himself from the rest of the growing reform. His teachings did not directly contradict everything that the church was teaching; yet, it did make some bold statements about the way that people viewed their individual entry in to heaven. The greatest claims that Martin Luther made in regards to the practices of the Catholic church include the fact that one’s purity could not be justified with monetary donations to the church, and one’s entry in to heaven could not be bargained for with intentional benevolent deeds. These claims brought about a lot of judgment and displeased reactions to his boldness and the way he interpreted the scripture. He was convinced that salvation is a free gift of God through faith.Luther stated, "..merciful God justifies us by faith" (Thornton 1983, 1).They used to have control over large continents, but now it has spread out to form localized communities. The church was not collecting money because of the revolts.
